INTERPRETATION AND MISINTERPRETATION OF DREAMS

Like we discussed yesterday, God can speak to you through your dreams or visions. But I want to tell you to please rely on His spirit to interpret dreams to you, patiently search and meditate on the Scripture for further instructions and if you are still confused you can consult your pastor to guide you.

Some people are spiritually blessed with the gift of interpretation of dreams they can cut deep into just any dream and interpret it for you but if you do not have this gift the Holy Spirit will still reveal things to you if you patiently wait on Him.

Let me share this story with you.

Way back in the University a friend of mine started a relationship with a brother who was a banker. She never prayed about it when he proposed but when the relationship started giving her headaches she waited on the Lord for direction and had a dream

She narrated the dream to me... how she saw this brother standing before her in a room and was smiling at her but all of a sudden his face changed and she saw a monster( scaring nameless thing) but every other parts of his body wasn't changed. It was so terrifying!

We discussed this dream and concluded something was ungodly about the brother so she paid him a visit in his family house. Guess what she saw?

Right in his house was a big shrine where they worship Ogun the god of thunder. The shrine was fresh with early morning palm oil and all sort of horrible items. She couldn't wait for any other explanation. She quit the relationship immediately.
That dream was properly interpreted by our little knowledge that something wasn't godly about the brother.

Only the mercy of God saved my friend from unequal yoke by revealing this secret through dreams, who knows what could have happened; may be my friend would be tying a red wrapper by now to worship an idol with the brother.

Don't ever joke with your relationship with Christ. It will safe guard your destiny. Believe me.

God would tell you whether to embark on a journey or not, what business to do and what investment not to do e.t.c

MIS-INTERPRETATION OF DREAMS
Be careful with dreams

I mis-interpreted a dream then while waiting on God for my marital partner and it almost cost me my self-respect. I saw a friend in my dream and we were not relating well, he would see me and take to his heels or just keep a distance away from me. I would follow him and see another sister take over the journey and few other ones like that. Do you know the funny thing I did? I started praying against powers and principalities waging war against my marital destiny. lol. Binding all forces keeping the brother away from me and I was hoping against hope he would come someday and propose marriage. lol.

I started serious prayers thinking there was a problem with me that require urgent deliverance. But NO! . God was simply telling me in that dream that the brother wasn't made for me but for another sister. He was engaged by the time I told him my dreams. Which was another stupid thing any single sister should never do. Don't ever be the first to share revelations with brothers. I was made perfect! a beauty to behold! God had prepared my personal divine husband for me but not the dream brother and when my husband finally came I couldn't but praise God.

Some sisters will wait till eternity for brothers who are not made for them likewise brothers too. Don't wait and waste.

Please learn from other people's past mistake and act right.

Whatever is the case with your dream life,
*Start praying before sleeping EVERY NIGHTS,
*STUDY THE BIBLE; it is better to sleep off while meditating.
*When you wake up in the morning be patient and reflect on the night to refresh your memory may be you had a particular dream.
*Be careful of whom you share your dreams with, remember Joseph.

Get confirmation through other means (we will discuss them) before you act on your dreams.

Prayer: Father I rebuke every manipulation of the devil in my dream life and I decree from today a season of revelational dreams in Jesus name.
