Knowing His voice. Part 8
WHY IS GOD SILENT?

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying “this is the way; walk in it” Isaiah. 30:12.

We cannot conclude this series without talking about instances where you can stop hearing God's voice. 

Some people complained that they are not hearing God speak to them and from what I perceived in my spirit it‘s almost like God has stopped talking to some people via whatever medium He used in the past in communicating with them hence we will examine why God is silent or quiet over some matters.

Lack of a relationship with Christ, Sins and Outright disobedience to His promptings.

“He that is of God HEARETH God’s words, ye HEARETH NOT because ye are not of God.” John 8:47

READ: 1 Samuel.28:6
“And when Saul inquired of the Lord, the Lord ANSWERED HIM NOT neither by dreams, nor by urim, nor by prophets”

King Saul lost his relationship with God, God used Prophet Samuel for him in his lifetime but because Saul despised all the solemn warnings consequently God departed from him.

Come to think of it, how on earth will I share my secrets with someone who is not intimate with me? Can you do that? No! Therefore the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him. Psalm 25:14

At a time when Saul desperately needed some counsel and encouragement, God was totally SILENT, He made Himself inaccessible to Saul. Out of desperation, Saul consulted a witch (NECROMANCER) to call Samuel out from the dead; all in a bid to hear from God.

Why not totally give your life to Jesus and confess your sins to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive you all your sins. 1. John.1:9.
If you are born again and it appears there is a gap between you and the Lord please re-dedicate your life to Jesus and enjoy a deeper communion with Him.

Prayer: Daddy please forgive my sin of disobedience and in anyway I have strayed away from you draw me back to your arms of love in Jesus name I pray.
