Knowing His voice. Part 3

Hear ye deaf and look ye blind, that ye may see.
Who is BLIND, but my servant or DEAF as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant?

SEEING many things, but thou OBSERVE NOT, opening the ears but he HEAREST NOT. Isaiah 42:18-19

Most times when singles are counseled to pray and know the will of God concerning their choice of marital partner, the leaders already supposed these singles should have developed a communication link with the Lord. The feedback most ministers get from these singles is always disappointing.

Why is this so? My observation is that,

“if you do not develop an effective communication link with the Lord before the need to seek Him for direction arise; it will be totally frustrating and tiring to wait and hear Him in your desperate moments”.

There are many medium through which God speaks to His children and as many who wait to hear Him for direction for their lives.

MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION

1. Vision and Dreams
This is one of the several ways God communicate with us. Some people do complain that they hardly have dreams and do not see visions, some forget their dreams, while some do not even understand their dreams, others discard their dreams and most mis-interpret their dreams. All of these issues require PRAYERS.

God can reveal the secrets about your life to you through dreams to give you the clear picture of what lies ahead of your destiny. Even in the choice of a marital partner He can tell you His will or hidden secrets about your future family.

I remembered very clearly a particular dream I had when God was revealing His calling for my life. It was a very clear revelation. I saw teens and Youths in a classroom where I was teaching them about SEXUAL PURITY. The Holy Spirit descended into the classroom in a wave eyes couldn't see and everybody were broken and repented of their immorality. With tears on their faces they were worshipping and consecrating their lives to Christ.

How could I wake up and do nothing for my generation. That was the background for this ministry.

How is your dream life? Do you have dreams?
Do you forget?
Can't just make any sense out of it all?
You discard dreams; you don't take them serious?

Whatever is the case with your dream life,
*Start praying before sleeping EVERY NIGHTS,
*STUDY THE BIBLE; it is better to sleep off while meditating.
*When you wake up in the morning be patient and reflect on the night to refresh your memory may be you had a particular dream.
*Pray about any dream you have, you can reject, enforce or pick God's instructions from them.
*Search the SCRIPTURE before taking any step about it. Your dream mustn't contradict the word of God.

NOTE:
a. Do not “totally rely on your night dreams WITHOUT RELATING IT WITH GOD'S WORD. Read. Ecclesiastes.5:3
b. Careful, be patient and cautious before acting on your dreams. Satan can manipulate dreams too. 2. Corinthians. 2:11
c. Do not discard all your dreams out rightly. Don't say "dreams are silly"
d. Pray for the gift of interpretation of dreams

There are many Biblical examples whereby God spoke to people through dreams.
Joseph discovered his destiny through a dream. Genesis 37:5-11
Mary and Joseph. Matthew. 1:20
The wise men. Matthew. 2:12
Jacob. Genesis.28:10-22
King Pharaoh. Genesis. 41:1-8
King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel. 4:18. and many others.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter or a thing but the honor of kings to search out a matter.
Proverbs.25:2
